CHAPTER 1
عيادة المريض
VISITING THE SICK
1. Bari' bin 'Azib (Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of . Allah (peace and blessings of Alian bo upon him) has ordered us to pay a visit to the sick, to follow the funeral pro- cessions, to give response to the sneezer, to help the oppressed, to accept the invitation extended by the inviter; and to give currency to the salutations.

2. Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allan (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: Every Muslim has five duties to perform for another Muslim : to return the greetings, to visit the sick, to accompany funeral proces- sions, to accept an invitation, to give response to the sneezer (Say: May Allāh bestow His mercy on you when the sneezer praises Allah). (Agreed upon)
ا عن البَرَاءِ بْنِ عَاذِبِ رَاضِي ا
اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : اَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ الله صلى
اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ و واتباءِ الْجَنَازَةِ ، وَتَنْمِيْتِ الْعَامِمِ دَ ابْرَارِ الْمُقْسِمِ ، وَنَصْرِ المَظْلُومة إجَابَةِ الدَّاعِى ، وَاِنشَاء السّلَامِ
متفق عليه -
عن الى هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ اَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
وسلم قَالَ : " حَقِّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى ردُ السَّلَامِ ، وَعِبَادَةَ المَرِيضِ خَمْسُ : وانباء الْجَنَائِزِ، وَإجَابَةُ الدَّعَوَةِ وَتَشيتُ الْعَاطِسِ - مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ -
