باب فضائل أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومن صحب النبي" صلى الله عليه وسلم أو رآه من المسلمين فهو من أصحابه،
1 - حدثنا علي بن عبد الله : حدثنا سفيان، عَنْ عَمْر و قال : سمعتُ جابر بن عبد الله يقول : حدثنا أبو سعيد الخدري قال: قالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : يأتى على النَّاسِ زمان فيغزو قام من النَّاسِ فَيَقُولُونَ : فيكم من
صاحب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلَّم ؟
فيَقُولُونَ نَعَمْ فَيُفتح لهم. ثم ياتى على الناس زمان فيغز و فشام منَ النَّاسِ فيقال : هل فيكم من صاحب أصحاب رَسُول الله صلى الله عليه وسلَّم ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ

LVII. The virtues and the
merits of the companions of the Prophet
(1) CHAPTER. The virtues of the com- panions of the Prophet and any Muslim who enjoyed the company of or saw him, is regard-

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri : Allah's Apostle said, "A time wi come up on the people when a group of people will wage a holy war and will be said, 'Is there amongst you anyone who has accompanied Allah's Apostle ?' They will say, 'Yes.' And so victory will be bestowed on them. Then a time will come up on the people when a group of people will wage a holy war, and it will be said, " Is there amongst you anyone who has accompanied the com- panions of Allah's Apostle ?' They will say, 'Yes.' And so victory will be bestowed on them. Then a time will come
نعم فيفتح لهم. ثم يأتي على الناس up on the people when a group of people
زمان فيغز و فدام من النَّاسِ فيقال :
مل فيكم من صاحب من صاحب أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ؟ فيَقُولُونَ نَعَمَ فيفتح لهم
will wage a holy war, and it will be said,
'Is there amongst you anyone who has been in the company of the companions of the
